Google Amharic Search with the Free GeezEdit Online

Google is one of the reliable Ethiopic search engines. It is now possible to search

for Amharic Ethiopic documents using the free typing GeezEdit page.

Follow the following steps:

.2. Click on the "Search" in the menu and then on the "Search" below it (Figure 1).

3. This will being up a box where you type the Amharic word or words you are searching for.

4. Type in Amharic and click on the "Search" button below the "X" on the right (Figure 2).

5. The relevant web sites will be listed in a new window.

6. Select one and click on the highlighted site as shown in Figure 3 below.

7. The site will be displayed in a new window as shown in Figure 4.

8. The default search is in Amharic. To search Google in English only, select "Alphabets" and then "Latin" as shown in Figure 2.

9. To search in Amharic and English at the same time switch between alphabets and type with the different alphabets as shown in Figure 2.

10. To end the search click on the "X" above the "Search" button.
