GeezEdit Amharic P is one of the products of Ethiopian Computers & Software of Colorado. This Amharic fake font was initially given out so that Ethiopians read my version of an Amharic translation of a 1988 article on AIDS. The new Geezedit 2001 monofont is given out at the request of many Ethiopians who wanted others to read what they publish on the Net. These fonts are freely given out without any warranty. We request that no one change or modify the typefaces. This is also because we intend to update the fonts without changing how they are used. Typing with these fonts require our commercial Geezedit program. Also searching for Net documents requires the program. Downloading of this font implies your acceptance of our rights posted at this web site and international intellectual rights. ECS is not responsible for anything typed with this font anywhere. To install the Geezedit 2001 font on your computer click on the link below and save the Geeze1.ttf file to disk. Click on >Start >Settings >Control Panel >Fonts >File >Install New Font and select the Geezedit 2001 truetype font from the directory you downloaded to. You may have to select user-defined encoding on some documents. Installation of this font also allows you to read e-mail, message board files, chat and instant messages, etc. typed with the font. This single typeface may have Amharic, Agew/Bilen, Guragie, Oromo and Tigrigna fake characters of the Geez alphabet. This font works in the default settings of Mcrosoft Windows 3.1 to 2000. 6/3/01
